Chair yoga is available for those who are more limited in their physical ability. Classes are quiet and calming, creating time and space to retreat from the stresses of our everyday lives. Students focus on their own experience. With over 23 years of teaching experience, I am able to accommodate different levels of ability and help students compensate for injuries and limitations. My focus is in helping you to listen to your body, release tension and become stronger and more flexible. I include in every class a teaching piece on yoga philosophy bridging this ancient science of the east with current understanding. You will also learn techniques for dealing with stress in your everyday life. All classes provide quiet time so that you leave class feeling relaxed, calm and rested. Less
