The site was formerly Monroe Elementary School, which, along with Sumner Elementary School, which formed the centerpiece of the controversy spurring the case. Now located on the site of the school, it conducts guided tours of the facility educating visitors about the story and significance of the place. The site also screens award-winning movies, as well as imparts abundant information about events that led to the iconic verdict.
