We offer many of the same services you find at other financial institutions, however we are motivated by service rather than profit. Our focus is "People Helping People" and our goal is to strengthen the financial well-being of our members. We are owned and operated by our members - their savings represents a "share" in the cooperative. The benefits of membership are returned to our members, with better rates and lower fees to provide significant savings! Members are insured by NCUA to at least $250,000 per account. We are proud to be ranked in the top 100 for four years in a row (2016-2019) for "exceptional fiduciary responsibility" by DepositAccounts.com, the independent third party evaluates the financial health of every federally insured credit union in the U.S. (more than 5,700 total). This is not just a great honor - we are the only credit union in Nebraska who has earned these high rankings four years straight! We are open to the community! We offer membership to family members of our current credit union members, people who live, work, worship, or attend school in eight counties around Omaha & Lincoln; people in the education and healthcare field in Nebraska and Iowa, of Methodist or Lutheran religion, are a student in Nebraska and Iowa, or an employee of a select employee group.
