There is something so magical about taking what you have and turning it into something new. It is not the "new thing" that is liberating, but the knowing that our greatest obstacles and most difficult circumstances can be the fuel for creating what we want in our lives. In her classes we go behind the scenes, to the root of things, and transform our prior knowledge, challenges and limitations into strength and freedom. Kendra primarily teaches Foundation Training and works as a Shiatsu Practitioner. She studied a very traditional style of yoga called Iyengar Yoga, and taught for over 15 years, but through multiple injuries and yearning to learn more she began to study Shiatsu, Shadow Yoga, Foundation Training, Functional Range Conditioning, foundational gymnastics, movement patterns from the Movement Culture -- specifically the work of Ido Portal, therapeutic work with muscle and fascia and Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy. Her teaching and her practice are highly influenced by these practices!
