Craftsman: one who creates or performs with skill or dexterity in the arts, an artist Artist: one skilled or versed in learned arts ; a skilled performer, especially an artiste Artiste: a skilled adept public performer ; specifically, a musical or theatrical entertainer Artisan Center Theater came into being because of one person's dream to make family friendly theater-in the-round accessible to both actors and patrons alike in the DFW area. As that person told others about that dream, they too joined in to help make that dream a reality. When it came to naming the theater, many names were considered, then tabled. Artisan had staying power it embodied everything in that original dream. A search of definitions was made and it was confirmed the perfect name for the theater. Artisan Center Theater is dedicated to providing you, our patrons, with the finest theatrical experience possible in an atmosphere as intimate and friendly as your own homes.
