Average fee for 1040 electronically filed with itemized deductions and other forms is about $225 based upon prior year fee, forms involved, preparation time, and complexity of tax issues. CPA time charged at $125 per hour, and bookkeeping time is $35 per hour. We don't charge for phone calls and our goal is to be available to you. Less
