   MoreTo know us we have to go back to the beginning; Atlantic window repair's inception first began with my father who came to this country in 1987 as an immigrant working for various window installation companies in the DMV doing odd jobs as a means of extra income, he was a natural and quickly found himself working on all manner of windows full time. While on the job he picked up a knack for repair. In 1991 he was able to establish himself as an independent operator and contractor working with the same companies that employed him, but now as a partner. My father would continue to operate as a one man show with the occasional helper or two until in 2014 when he brought me onboard to pass on what he had learned. At first I was skeptical that I would stay in the field for long perhaps because even the smallest repair felt like a major endeavor, or that at other times we'd take our work home with us. To my surprise the opposite occurred, I fell in love with fixing windows and by the time I realized it window work was the way my father and I bonded. I was grateful because in April 2019 my father would pass away. Today our team has expanded to four team members excluding myself and we have established great working relationships with many local companies in the area. In recent times our focus has shifted to working directly with homeowners on their window projects. Less
