Partners Jonathan and John, a Baker and a teacher by trade, founded this cottage industry in 1999 to create homemade mouthwatering confections for all to taste and enjoy. Our award winning Beyond Chocolate Cake, Peanut Butter Balls, Lemon "Dream" pound cake and Oatmeal Craisin cookies are just a few of our celebrated specialties. Jonathan's maternal grandmother, Hazel is the inspiration for JonJohn's delicious creations. She was a strong woman of faith, compassion and stability who believed that no matter what happened in a family's life, good cooking would make things seem better. That conviction is not only reflected in JonJohn's Bakery products, but also in our relationship with our customers. JonJohn's is proud to use our own farm fresh organic eggs in our desserts. Since founding the business, JonJohn's Bakery has been twice awarded the Rochester Epilepsy Foundation's "People's Choice" Award, and the Food link Festival of Food "Best Taste" award for their products. Long a favorite stop at the Rochester Public Market, we are excited to bring our products to the greater Rochester community at the Brighton farmers market, University of Rochester Farmer's Market and South Wedge Farmer's Market for the 2015 summer season!
