   MoreKidstretch is a state-licensed preschool program that provides high-quality early childhood education for children ages three (3) to five (5) years old. Kidstretch is open year-round and conveniently located in the City of Falls Church. The program is designed to help children build the foundation they need emotionally, socially, cognitively, and physically as they prepare for the transition to kindergarten. Experienced teachers follow the Creative Curriculum for Preschool program in a small classroom setting. Kidstretch is a registered provider with Fairfax County's Office for Children and can provide tuition assistance to families who qualify. Kidstretch staff members are highly motivated and love working with young children. Most teachers hold a bachelor's or master's degree in Early Childhood Education, Special Education, or a child-related field. Each staff member is certified in Infant/Child CPR & First Aid and participates in ongoing training in early childhood development and safety. Kidstretch is also honored to be a Virginia Preschool Initiative (VPI) classroom. VPI is a state initiative that supports school readiness and success in kindergarten and beyond. Kidstretch students follow a state approved, developmentally appropriate curriculum to address their learning needs. By participating in the VPI program, Kidstretch provides child screenings for hearing, vision, developmental, dental and mental health, as well as family engagement opportunities. Less
