Visitors flood the Village for the day-long celebration of renowned designs, enchanting gardens and award-winning restorations. Guests meander through the open sites at their own pace, while stopping to shop and dine at our businesses throughout the village. The day is an effort to provide our 5,000+ tour guests a glimpse of quality historic preservation and innovative design in the home and gardens on tour. We think of the event as a "tour of inspiration." All proceeds from the Haus und Garten Tour support the historic preservation and education programs of the German Village Society.
