Many of our daily excursions are to the Catcoctin Mountains, Monocacy River and other western Maryland mountains, crags, rivers and caves. Daybreak Excursions strives to stay small. This allows Daybreak Excursions to provide clients with our complete focus while making a much smaller footprint wherever we go. An optimum group would be a party of 8 for any daily excursion. When guiding, Daybreak Excursions goal is to provide an activity that will be challenging as well as positively motivating. We have found that with smaller groups there is a provision for less distraction, increased ability to absorb the instruction, and time to apply that instruction to the task at hand.
