Funds were raised for by the group, with a lot of support by patrons, and dedication and perseverance of the group members. Finally, Byrnes Performing Arts Center is a state of the art facility in Arlington. The theater has been designed and decorated by the city's well-known artists. The classic chandelier, a Steinway grand piano donated by the Boulton family and a Ghighlieri statue of an eagle entitled "Freedom" was donated by Dr. Wayne Smothers and his wife Marcia all prove the love of art of the citizens of Arlington.
