He rented a stall for $25.00 a month at the service station located at 95 W. Main, in American Fork. In 1963, he built the shop where the business still resides today. Robert knew the most important part of his business was to manufacture quality products, looking at each project as if it were his own. He built his reputation of quality for a fair price. Robert raised his family in this business, teaching his children the value of hard work and perserverance. His youngest son, Chase, showed a talent in upholstery as a young boy sewing his own footballs and pulling staples.
