I use a mixed psychodynamic and cognitive-behavioral approach based on Family Systems theory where I encourage my clients to discover powerful insights about their past in order to gain a better understanding of past and present dysfunction in their lives. I believe in my clients' ability to overcome old, self-limiting beliefs, often learned in childhood, that prevent them from living up to their true potential. A warm and empathic therapist, Robin utilizes an eclectic approach to genuinely connect with her teens, adults, couples, and families in areas of: Addiction, Codependency, communication barriers, social anxiety, life skills training, and O.C.D. issues. Robin is a trained Imago therapist and uses this technique to bring insight and healing into dysfunctional communication patterns with couples and families. This work requires learning necessary skills that, practiced daily, shift us from unconscious to conscious relationships.
