   MoreToyo Photography specializes in photography as an art, taken to its highest level. The studio was founded by Gary Miyatake, professionally known as Toyo. As a member of the Miyatake family, known for photographs taken at Manzanar internment camp, Gary learned photography directly from his grandfather, Toyo. In the early 90's, after working for his grandfather for many years, Gary opened his studio in the city of Gardena. The Gardena studio houses portraits of community members and many historic figures from around the world, including the United States District Courthouse Federal Judges. In the 1980s, Gary was the personal photographer for Los Angeles Mayor Tom Bradley, and many other high profile dignitaries. Part of his photography collection includes the only formal portrait of Cesar Chavez, founder of the United Farm Workers Union, Oscar De La Hoya, and many more. Make no mistake, Toyo Photography is not the same as the parent company. Today, the studio is headed by lead photographer and Gary's protégé, Elfego Omar Casasola.
