It provides various amenities in its parks, such as playgrounds, swimming pool, picnic and fishing areas, jogging tracks, historic lighthouses, restrooms, basketball and volleyball courts, education centers, and walking trails. The commission administers a park system of more than 52,000 acres, and organizes special cultural and social events for senior citizens. The parks offer traditional health and fitness centers, water attractions, children areas, parades, restaurants, game venues, and merchandise outlets to visitors.
