   MorePacific Coast Gallery features large format, limited edition landscape photos from the LA and around the world by photographer Matthew Welch. As many of his images are over 50,000 pixels wide, they can be printed at extremely large sizes. As visitors enter the gallery, they are first greeted by a 9 foot wide photo of the Manhattan Beach Pier, and they can find their way at the back of the gallery to a 15 ft wide photo of an LA sunset and lifeguard tower. Beyond these large format landscape photographs, Matthew is perhaps best known for his Flows. To shoot a Flow, Matthew photographs one viewpoint of a scene repeatedly, documenting the flow of the day as it passes, and then composites 12 images into a single image. His first book of Flows, Just Another Day, has been published in 6 languages. To shoot his Strand Flow, Matthew shot the same beach scene on the Strand 100,000 times over 18 months, and edited these down to the final 12 images. The Strand Flow is on display at the gallery.
