   MoreOur home is safe and fully baby proofed. I follow all licensing/safety standards outlined by DCFS. I am licensed by the Department of Child & Family Services(DCFS) to care for up to eight children in my home. I am First Aid/CPR certified and have taken child care classes on child development, SIDS, shaken baby syndrome, managing health and safety in a daycare, and infant safety. Our home is a non-smoking and firearm free home. I keep up to date on toy recalls and continue my education on child development and care. My daycare playroom is a great space for children to socialize, imagine, read, and play. I rotate the toys and books often to keep things interesting! When we aren’t utilizing the playroom, we love to make crafts, play games, dance to music, and spend as much time as possible outdoors! We have a large fenced backyard with plenty of room for the kids to run, play, imagine and get messy! We also love to walk around the neighborhood together and visit the nearby parks! Every week we have a special movie and pajama day and the kids love to bring a blanket and a stuffie to be extra comfy during the movie! Daycare parties for holidays, birthdays, back to school etc are always a big hit with the kids as well! My goal is always to instill kindness and create a fun environment for every child. Less
