Alex teaches vinyasa flow yoga at several yoga studios in the district and NOVA, and also can come to her client's home for private instruction. She is trained in both Hatha yoga and also the flowing style of Vinyasa practice named Prana Flow by Shiva Rea. This style of practice is very fluid and rhythmic, and can be either more relaxing, or Lunar, or more vigorous and challenging, or Solar. Alex practices all kinds of therapeutic massage as well, including Sports Massage, Deep Tissue Massage, Neuromuscular and Trigger Point work, Myofascial Release, Swedish Massage and Thai massage, which she studied in Thailand. She is also trained in Preanatal Massage and Yoga, and loves working with pregnancy through all her modalities. Alex is passionate about taking small groups of people to beautiful and interesting locales for yoga retreats, which often include massage as well.
