Calvary Baptist Church began with a need in Simi Valley for an independent, fundamental Bible believing church that would meet the needs of the congregation with solid Bible preaching and teaching, as well as provide programs for the entire family. Under the leading of the Holy Spirit, in the winter of 1981, we opened our doors with Jim Newton as our first Pastor. Today, still under the leading of the Holy Spirit, we are blessed and thrilled to have Dennis Chapman as our Pastor. We are a family centered church, seeking to fulfill the entire family's spiritual needs by equipping them to live through the teaching of God's Word.
