   MoreOur church, like all Christian Science churches, specializes in demonstrating that Jesus's practice of healing was based on repeatable, divine law. He healed sin, disease, and even death through the knowledge and understanding that man -- as created in the image and likeness of God, male and female (Genesis 1:27) -- has never fallen out of that state. We support our congregations in practicing similar spiritually healing. "For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive" (1st Corinthians 15:22). "And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent" (John 17:3). We view these statements as promises of what is every child, man, and woman's right at every moment. We live in the kingdom of heaven. It is only the limitations of the material human experience that tempt us to believe that we suffer, sin, or die.
