The Downtown Counseling Center serves low-income people who have multi-faceted personal and situational problems. Most are not insured, do not have Medi-Cal and have limited funds to pay for out-patient psychotherapy. The three components of ACT's Program are: 1. Downtown Counseling Center: Low cost professional counseling services for parents and children reunifying after legal separation for abuse, neglect; for court ordered individuals; for persons in emotional distress: anxiety, depression, relationship problems. 2.
