Prior to 2011, I was an enthusiast, but had been growing and experimenting with the help of knowledgeable growers of hardy exotic plants for many years. The nursery grew from my own desire to have that bit of the tropics in my own yard and has escalated into a growing business. We have acquired an extensive collection of hardy desert plants and tropical and subtropical plants from around the world.
