We actually talk and see each other during the week. We hang out and like each other. We’re interested in our peoples’ lives and we care about the people we know and meet around Tacoma. Sometimes MOST importantly, we show up for each other when shit hits the fan. So if and when you get an invite from someone at Port City or if you’re considering checking us out, know that it’s not an invite to a religious event. You’re getting an invite to gain some new friendships and to be a part of our community. We don’t stick to a certain “type” of person in our community. We don’t believe in cliques — we believe in bringing church aka community aka friendship to EVERY person in Tacoma, no matter your sexuality, your race, your background, your beliefs, your style, or anything else.
