The paint is faded and the furniture just this side of uncomfortable, but once your food is set before you, any concerns vanish from mind. All the usual Thai dishes are here, but favorites include the restaurant's namesake, Gai Pon Proem (pieces of spicy meat to be dipped in flavorful sauces), hot and Sour Soup, Spring Rolls and Fried halibut.
