And best for last I was also blessed with have 4 precious grand-kiddos! Most of my knowledge is from our large family. I can say I've pretty much seen it all! I believe in a low ratio (5:1) and quality care childcare. Here is where children can explore, learn and play in a home setting along with a age appropriate curriculum. My home is clean and safe. My home is SMOKE FREE and DRUG FREE! I do have super friendly fur babies but they never interact with my family home daycare nor the children. We keep it totally separate. Raising children in this busy DMV area, is something I truly understand. I know the importance of having a reliable and honest provider for the children while you work, continue your education or just need to make things happen. When I was in the field working as a Case File Manager in Mental Health and going to school to get my degree in Criminal Justice, is when I really realized that raising kiddos is really something everyone needs a helping hand in. My husband and I, unfortunately didn’t have family in the area so we had to rely on each other.
