Traditionally, playing was always the way that children learned, and I think it is still the most effective. Throughout the day, we have fun learning reading and writing, doing arts and crafts, singing songs, practicing musical instruments, and playing games. I especially love spending time outside, teaching the children about nature and exploring the outdoors. I think the most important lessons that I teach the kids are about love and respect. Children are people, and they deserve to be treated with the same respect as anyone else. It's so important to me that we be patient with one another and show each other love at all times. Rosie's Family Child Care is a fully licensed Family Child Care program that has undergone a rigorous state-mandated process including: - A 3-part background check for every person in the household - Home inspection and unannounced visits from the Department of Early Education and Care Licensors at least once per year - 10+ hours of continuing education per year - Pediatric CPR & First Aid certification - Medication Administration Training - Training in Safe Sleep, Childhood Health, & Nutrition Less
