I want to take care of these little ones as if they were my own children or grandchildren. In fact, the kids in my program call me "Mommy Clau" (pronounced "Mommy Cow") and run to give me a hug when they get dropped off for the day. I want all children to feel safe, loved, and cared for, so it is very important to me that children feel comfortable and that parents trust their children are in good hands. Every day feels like an adventure. My favorite part of our time together is when we sing and dance to songs like "Twinkle Twinkle" and do all the fun little movements to "I'm Going on a Bear Hunt." I believe kids need plenty of time and space for physical movement, expressing their creativity, and exploring their own interests. Less
