Curry cheese wonton (turmeric, curry powder, and cream cheese) is a fusion item that has become more and more popular, especially among customers who are vegetarian. Although Thailand is a small country, the food is very different based on your location. I am from the southern part of Thailand and am also eager to introduce the food from my hometown of Chaiya. I already introduced a dish called “Chaiya Pad Thai” from my hometown which is known across Thailand by the same name. The ingredients of Chaiya Pad Thai are curry paste, fish sauce, tamarind sauce, and coconut milk. Chaiya Pad Thai also has fish sauce which can be a substitute with salt to make it vegan. It is still tasty, as there are many other Thai herb ingredients that make Chaiya Pad Thai flavorful. Since I used to work as a scientist in pharmaceutical companies and as a pharmacist in Thailand, we also can advise or prepare the food for customers with special needs, i.e., for customers with diabetes or hypertension.
