   MoreMy recent epiphany caused a transition from calling myself a photographer to calling myself an artist. This was a big deal. I never felt comfortable calling myself an artist, especially since I have been a working photographer since high school on the East Coast. My technique is simple. I first find something I am passionate about and then harness that energy to create a surreal image that communicates how I feel. Using Photoshop as my darkroom, I select from thousands of photographs I have taken from around the world. After choosing the images, I try to create rhythmic harmony of all the visual elements.
