He completed his residency in Family Medicine at ProMedica Monroe Regional Hospital in Michigan. Dr. Katz has served as a team physician for NCAA Division I and NCAA Division II colleges, multiple high schools, professional soccer teams, and hockey teams. He currently volunteers to cover triathlons, running races, and is an appointed ring-side physician for professional boxing and mixed martial arts (MMA).
