It began with the idea that rock-n-roll, blues and country music could all be aired on the same station. "They" said it was impossible, that it would never work. It worked so well that when streaming radio became a reality, KFAN fm 107.9 was among ten stations invited to stream in one of the first streaming experiments. It wasn't long before "The New York Times" was asking "who are these Texas Rebel Radio people and where is Fredericksburg, Texas?" The rest is history. KFAN and H.C. Broadcasting has some of the most attractive advertising rates you'll find anywhere. The family that started this radio group in 1946 still owns and operates every aspect of the business.
