Sargent's Landscape Nursery of Rochester is an outgrowth of a four generation family business founded in Red Wing, MN in 1928. In 1971 Forrest Sargent began the Rochester business on a small lot near what is now Wild Bill's Sports Saloon. In 1976, the business moved to its present 18th Avenue NW location, and in 1985 our second retail store opened on 2nd Street SW. Additionally, in 1992 Colours Flower Market was purchased and moved into the 2nd Street store. Today the business is owned and operated by Forrest and Faye Sargent and their son, Nick and his wife, Nina. Thanks to a customer base enthusiastic about gardening and excellent landscape design, and a dedicated and knowledgeable staff, Sargent's has continued to expand and remodel throughout the years.
