His father brought electricity to their small village near Krakow, Poland when he launched a stone finishing plant. Soon after the family emmigrated to the USA in the 60s, his father was directing the same kind of plant, originally in New York; later New Jersey. For years off and on, while attending college, George and his brother John continued working with their father. After completing college and starting life on their own, John established a natural stone business in Indianapolis, Inidiana and George came to Springfield. The Granite Guy Springfield opened in 2001. To provide more showroom space, George moved to its current location on North Dirksen Parkway in 2005. Today The Granite Guy serves throughout the USA. No job is too big, too small or too far from home.We have satisfied commercial customers in Arizona, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Missouri, Oregon and Texas.
