When you walk in, you are immediately greeted by staff who are very welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable about their products as well as good suggestions about how each tastes, etc. The options are generous but not overdone, the quality of icecream is tasty and creamy, you get quickly transported to icecream heaven. The business is in a historic building - former bank which lends a certain atmosphere ( you can even go in the vault) , and it has a rather spacious patio, there is ample seating inside and outside. If you are in the area or just passing by , this is a perfect place to stop and relax for a spell. This is worth a trip just for icecream alone. Miranda's is a pleasant change from the chains, shop wise and for money - better value, better portions, superior taste, great people and the quaint area is an added bonus as well.
