Because as the day unfolds with moments big and small, truly being in them is the thing that matters most. When you look back at these gorgeous photos, what you'll remember is how you felt. Every wedding is wholly unique--it's why I love what I do! My images have an editorial feel, a richness, a glamour, and often a stunning simplicity with true-to-life colors that transcend time and trends. It's why they've been featured in numerous magazines and blogs, and why Apple selected them to be displayed online and in their stores around the world. It's why Sony selected me to be one of the first female wedding photographers in the world to be named an Artisan of Imagery, a distinction I'm thrilled and inspired by. But my greatest satisfaction comes from the happiness of my couples, in capturing their memories and creating lasting heirlooms in the process. When I'm not shooting in California (or elsewhere around the world), you'll find me at home in San Diego, taking helicopter rides with my husband Weston, a pilot, picnicking on the beach, or entertaining guests at home with our 4-year-old daughter Charlie, and our Irish wolfhound Ziggy.
