Take, for example, the work of artist Taina Hartman from Washington State. I found her colorful necklaces and earrings at a museum gift store in San Francisco and tracked her down! She makes the most charming sketches of birds, trees, and plants and encases them in a sterling silver frame. We cannot keep her items in stock because her collection starts at $26 and is exclusive to our store on the east coast. Every item in our store has a wonderful story. Most of our items are fair trade or made in America. "Green Chic" is another of our goals. We carry recycled typewriter key jewelry from Phildelphia artist Neil Benson, Envirosax, recycled chopstick bowls, cufflinks from watch movements, and more.
