   MoreMy clients include children from 4 to 12 years, teens, young adults, men and women. I especially enjoy working with parents, siblings, and grandparents. I have been fortunate to work with these populations for the last 20 years as a counselor and previously with children, parents, and grandparents as a teacher for 13 years. I believe my role as a counselor is to provide a safe place for clients to identify places they feel stuck in relationships, school, work or life choices. Clients will be encouraged to build on their strengths and learn new skills for better problem solving. I help my clients understand themselves and their relationships.Clients learn to appreciate their special life skills. They also learn to encourage themselves and others by understanding why we are who we are, and to respect differences. Then we look for ways to open up their world of options to allow for more successful choices. I have found a variety of therapies to be helpful. Less
