I offer expert professional tutoring in the areas of math, English, history, and test-prep. I teach all lessons personally and offer dedicated one-on-one attention to help kids succeed academically. I have over twenty years of experience working with a wide range of students of all levels of abilities and backgrounds. I've helped many hundreds of students boost their grades and prepare for exams such as the SAT, ACT, SSAT, ISEE, HSPT, GRE, and GMAT. My students find me patient and dedicated at explaining challenging concepts from multiple perspectives. I work with all ages, with a primary focus on grades 2 through 12. I am both a tutor and author. My book VocabMonster uses creative cartoons and mnemonic devices to teach advanced English vocabulary. My book, 6 GRE Practice Tests, published by the Barron's, offers students a glimpse of what to expect on the Graduate Records Exam, and instructs them on how to ace the test.
