Prices and ordering guidelines Prices for calligraphy vary with the size and complexity of the item. House portrait prices are shown below. A house portrait may be commissioned as either a watercolor painting or a pen and ink drawing on notecards. The watercolors come matted and framed in your choice of frame. The notecards are printed on high quality stock and come with matching envelopes. I will need one or more clear photographs (no slides or Polaroids, please) of the view you would like, as well as close-ups of details such as doors, windows or trimwork which may not be shown clearly in the main photo. After your initial order, more cards may be ordered at any time in the future, so you can have an unlimited supply. A message may be included inside the cards, in calligraphy, for invitations, change-of-address announcements, or holiday greeting cards, for an additional charge. Less
